Precision Aluminium Casting and Engineering Ltd (PACE) has been formed by merging W H Rowe Ltd and Engineering and Developments Ltd (EDL) at our large foundry site in Southampton.
WH Rowe Ltd, based in Southampton since 1932, specialised in the supply of high-quality sand and gravity die aluminium components. EDL supplied precision machined castings primarily into the aerospace and defence sectors for over 30 years.
The combined business will supply aluminium sand, gravity die and investment castings from self-contained and purpose-built foundry operations. The casting production is complimented by extensive CNC machining and powder coating facilities. Onsite support processes include material testing via in house spectrometers, fettling and trimming, tool maintenance, heat treatment, fully integrated real time x-ray and dye penetrant crack detection, plus the added benefit of a fully equipped pressure, hydraulic, vacuum and leak test area.
